However, you cannot perform the Reverse Restore function in the following cases:
If the original relationship was established without using the Incremental FlashCopy function
If a copy operation established in COPY mode is not yet completed
If the original relationship was established in NOCOPY mode
If the relationship being reversed includes a relationship established with multiple volumes
If the S-VOL capacity exceeds the T-VOL capacity in the relationship being reversed
If the original relationship was re-established using the Fast Reverse Restore function
If the S-VOL or T-VOL is an external volume.

You can judge whether the Reverse Restore function can be used by examining the results of the
FLASHCOPY QUERY RELATIONS command of ICKDSF. For details, see (page 129).
When you perform Reverse Restore, only the updated data is copied from newly specified S-VOL
to T-VOL.
(page 39) shows the workflow from establishing the Version 2 relationship by the Incremental
FlashCopy function to executing the update copy operation (Reverse Restore).
