a primary SVP, which can be either an SVP connected to a storage system, or a web server with the
exact same configuration as an SVP (see Starting Up and Logging Into Remote Web
Console on page 41).

CFL Extension
The CFL Extension allows you to perform commands on the storage system using the command prompt.
To use the CFL Extension, you need to install certain files on the Remote Web Console computer. The
current version of the CFL Extension can be used to perform only specific operations of specific program
products. For details on the CFL Extension, see Chapter 5 on page 139.
Remote Web Console Features
Remote Web Console enables you to perform the following operations:
View the storage system information
You can view storage system and LDEV information in the Identity window (seeIdentity Win-
dow on page 71).
You can view the mounted status of ports in the Port Status window (see Port Status Win-
dow on page 78).
You can view specific LUN, LDEV, and port values in the Reports Display dialog box, which
is different from the Remote Web Console main window (seeReports Display Dialog
Boxes on page 94).
Use program product options and functions
You can use program product options remotely on the storage system.
See the appropriate user's guide for details about storage system options. For installation in-
structions, see Enabling and Disabling Remote Web Console Options on page 113. For launch
instructions, see Launching the Desired Option on page 117.
