Using Consistency Groups for Dataset Copies that Span Volumes
If you use a consistency group, you may create copied data that keeps consistency even when the
source data depends on each other and is stored in multiple volumes. “Using a Consistency Group
with Version 2: Copying Data that is Stored over Multiple Volumes” (page 36) and “Using a
Consistency Group with Version 2: Copying Multiple Data that is Stored over Multiple Volumes
(page 37) show examples of using a consistency group.
