All the relationships established with the extents in the source or target device specied by SDEVN
are withdrawn.
If thedevicespecied by SDEVN is the source and if the relationships are set to the COPY mode, the
relationships are withdrawn after the backg round copy p rocess is completed.
If thedevicespecied by SDEVN is the source and if the relationships are set to the NOCOPY mode,
the
relationships are withdrawn af ter the copy operation mod e is changed to COPY mode and then the
background copy process is completed. If the device specied by SDEVN is the target, the relationships
are withdrawn immediately. The information on the device specied by TDEVN is ignored.
Below is an example of the command description for Case 5. When YES is selected for the DDSW
parameter, the parameter value for TDEVN is ignored. Therefore, the following two examples show
the
same content represented by a different description, both requesting the withdrawal of all the
relationships established with the device numbered 4202.

By executing the command described above, the relations established with Dataset 1 and Dataset
2 in the
dev
ice numbered 4202 are withdrawn. As a result, there will no longer be any relationships
