The items displayed in the Option window are as follows:

box: When you check the check box of the option name, that option will be

enabled. If you clear the check box, that option will be disabled. Note that the only options that

are available for Version 2 in this box are FCv2 Slower Copy1 and FCv2 Slower Copy2. Swap &

FCv2 Window

The FCv2 window (see Figure 33 on page 73) displays the state-change-pending (SCP) time that is set on

the CUs. The d efault setting of the state-change-pending time is 120 seconds, but you may change it

by using the FCv2 window.

The state-change-pending in this c ase means a temporary suspension of the write operation from the

host to the Version 2 S-VOL. The period during which the write operation is stopped is called the

state-change-pend ing time. When you copy data which is stored over several volumes by using Version

2, the S-VOL will not be overwritten during the time d eﬁned as the state-change-pending time so that

the

consistency of the data will be maintained.

Using

the Version 2 GUI
