Version 2 shares some tabs with ShadowImage for Mainframe. This chapter describes the items on
the
windows that will be displaye d when you click the shared tabs and Version 2’s original tab.
As
for other dialog boxes that will be displayed by selecting the pop -up menu commands, see
“Performing Version 2 Operations” on page 75.
Pair Operation Window
The Pair Operation window (see Figure 30 on page 67) displays the volume and pair information for the
selected CU image on the connected subsystem.

Note: Though the Pair Operation window displays relationship information for Version 1 / Version
2
and pair information for ShadowImage for M ainframe, this section only explains the items
related to Version 2 relationships. For details about the items related to Version 1 relationships, see
“Pair O peration Window” on page 27. For details related to ShadowImage for Mainframe pairs, see the
Hitachi ShadowImage for z/OS User's Guide.
The Pair Operation window (Pair Operation tab) has the following features:
• The Tree, located on the left side of the Pair Operation window, allows you to select a defined CU
image or LDEV ID. By selecting a CU image or LDEV ID, the corresponding volume or relationship
will be displayed in the Volume List in the upper right on the Pair O peration window. Note that no
volume will be displayed when you select Subsystem at the top of the Tree.
