RAID Manager
When you view the Data Retention window, some other user might be using RAID Manager to change the
access attribute of a volume. If the RAID Manager user changes the access attribute of a volume when
you view the Data Retention window, you will be unable to change the access attribute of the volume by
using Data Retention Utility. Then, if you attempt to change the access attribute of the volume by using
Data Retention Utility, an error occurs. If an error occurs, click File and then Refresh on the menu bar of
the
Remote Web Console main window, and then retry changing the access attribute of the volume.
Auto Start Products
Some program products are likely to start a utomatically at the time specified by the user. For example, if
an HP StorageWorks XP Auto LUN Software user or a n HP StorageWorks XP Performance Monitor user
specifies the time for star ting the monitor, the monitor will automatically start at the specified time.
If any program product that can start automatically is enabled, you must do one of the following:
• perform Data Retention Utilit y operations when the program is not running
• cancel the setting for the program start time
