Journal O peration Window

To conﬁgure journal groups, use the Journal Operation window of Continuous Access Journal.

To display the Journal Operation window, do either of the following:

• If Continuous Access Journal has not been started:

1. Click Go, Continuous Access Journal, and then Jo u rnal Operation on the menu bar of the

Remote Web Console main window.

Continuous Access Journal starts and the Journal O peration window is d isplayed.

• If Continuous Access Journal has a lready been star ted:

1. Select the Journal O peration tab.

The Journal O peration window is displayed.

The Journal Operation window displays the following:

• Tree: Lists the journal groups in the local storage system, which is the storage system you are

logged

into.

Note

: The tree displays the journal groups used with Continuous Access Journal, and

does

display the journal groups used with Universal Replicator for Mainframe.

• Journal Groups: This item is located at the top of the tree. When you select this item, the

upper-right list displays the journal groups in the local storage system.
