The HP StorageWorks XP12000/XP10000/SVS 200 SNMP Agent Reference Guide describes the SNMP
Agent interface for the HP storage system. Please read this manual carefully to understand how to
manipulate your storage systems using the Remote Web Console software, and maintain a copy that is
accessible from the Remote Web Console computer for reference purposes.
The term storage system in this guide refers to an HP StorageWorks XP12000/XP10000/SVS 200
Disk Array.

Conventions for Storage Capacity Values
HP XP storage systems use the following values to calculate physical storage capacity values (hard
disk drives):
• 1 KB (kilobyte) = 1,000 bytes
• 1MB(megabyte)=1,000
