4 Using XP Snapshot
This chapter describes procedures for using XP Snapshot.
The first section describes the flow of XP Snapshot processes. The next section describes how the status
of a XP Snapshot pair changes while using XP Snapshot. The other sections provide information
needed to create pools and switch off the array's power supply after you start using XP Snapshot.
Procedure for using XP Snapshot processes

To create pools and V-VOLs, use Command View XP or XP Remote Web Console. To create XP
Snapshot pairs and perform subsequent operations, use XP RAID Manager. You can also use Command
View XP or XP Remote Web Console to delete pairs. For more information, see
“Snapshot XP operations” on page 41.
