HP StorageWorks XP Remote Web Console Error Codes: HP XP12000 Disk Array, HP XP10000 Disk Array, HP 200 Storage Virtualization System (AE002-96057, May 2011)
NOTE: Messages with a part code 60xx (where xx is a two-digit number) are Hitachi
TrueCopy for z/OS or XP Continuous Access messages. This manual contains Hitachi TrueCopy
for z/OS messages only. If you are an XP Continuous Access user, note that:
◦ The word M-VOL in Hitachi TrueCopy for z/OS messages is equivalent to P-VOL in XP
Continuous Access messages.
◦ The word R-VOL in Hitachi TrueCopy for z/OS messages is equivalent to S-VOL in XP
Continuous Access messages.
• Part code: The ID of the application that issued the message. In Figure 1 (page 4) the part
code is 110.
• Message number: Decimal number within the range of 0000 to 99999. In Figure 1 (page
4) the message number is 9102.
NOTE: If XP Remote Web Console starts and displays the following message, see the code and
number the (YYYY ZZZZZ) represents. A check box may be indicated in the message window. If
you check the check box, note that the message will not be displayed until you login again.
A network error occurred, the server is not ready, or an error occurred
in the server. (YYYY ZZZZZ)
XP Remote Web Console Error Codes
NOTE: To find solutions to the XP Remote Web Console for storage system errors, see the tables
of this manual, or the Troubleshooting chapter in the user guides for the program products causing
the errors.
NOTE: In some cases, the Recommended Action column may be blank. In these circumstances,
the user should take actions based on instructions provided in the error message and based on
what the user is trying to accomplish. The tables also provide the severity level and failure level of
the error conditions.
The tables list the error codes and error messages for XP Remote Web Console and provide
recommended action for the error conditions.
Severity Levels. The severity levels for the error codes are:
• i: Information
• E: Error
• W: Warning
• N: The server is unable to accept the request from XP Remote Web Console. One possible
cause is that some process is in progress at the server. This message does not indicate an
error.
Failure Levels. The failure levels for the error codes are:
• 0: No Error
• 1: Select MSG OK to end forcibly
• 2: All Refresh or Exit is valid only
• 3: All Refresh, Refresh, or Exit is valid and the buttons, other than the buttons of the functions
in which the error occurred, are valid.
• 4: To make refresh possible
• 5: No status change
