• Mainframe volumes must be allocated to SLPR0.
• Before a customized volume (CV) is created, the StorageAdmins user must allocate CU numbers to
the SLPR. Allocated CU numbers are required only for defining the CU number to be allocated to
the LDEV when the StorageAdmin user creates a CV.
