NOTE:

If the check box is not selected, all check b oxes in both tabs are grayed out.

• Busine ss Copy tab: This tab is for Business Copy XP pairs. For more information, see the

HP StorageWorks Business Copy XP user guide for the XP12000/XP10000/SVS200.

• Snapshot XP tab: Check boxes indicate the status of Snapshot pairs displayed. If you select or

clear a check box, Snapshot XP pairs in that status are displayed or hidden in the volume list. To

use the check boxes, select the Snapshot XP check box in the Pair Status box.

• OK but ton: Applies settings and closes the Display Filter pane.

• Cancel button: Resets settings and closes the Display Filter pane.

Creating or deleting pools

1. Launch Command View XP or XP Remote Web Console.

2. Click the Volume Manager button. The Volume Manager p ane appears.

3. Select the Pool tab. The Pool pane appears.

You can also use the Pool pane to initialize the pool management block's V-VO L management area. For

more information, see Initializing V-VOL management areas or pool management blocks.

• Pool Mng. Block total capacity: Total capacity of pool management blocks, including capacity

of pool management blocks in use.

NOTE:

The capacity of the pool management block in use must be less than its total capacity.

• Pool Mng. Block used capacit y: X GB: Capacity of pool management blocks in use.
