If the pair status changes to PSUE because a failure occurred during the restoration, the host cannot access that pair.
CAUTION:
If the host computer uses application software to monitor the Snapshot XP pairs' volumes, problems, such
as abnormal end, might occur. For example, since the S-VOL whose status is not PSUS (or PFUS) rejects
access from the host, a problem might occur on the monitoring application software whose access is
rejected. In addition, if the host computer connects to more than one port, a problem might also occur
on ports that are not connected to the S-VOL that rejected the host access. You must terminate the
application software monitoring the volumes to solve these problems.
Use RAID Manag er XP comm ands to operate Snapshot XP pairs. However, whether the operations
complete normally or not depends on the p air status. Table 7 shows the pair status and results of the
RAID Manager commands.
