About this Guide This document lists the error codes and error messages for the HP Remote Web Console for HP storage systems, and provides recommended action for the error conditions.

1 HP StorageWorks XP Remote Web Console for Storage System Messages and Error Codes Remote Web Console for Storage System Messages “Sample Message Window (Information Level Message)” on page 13 shows a typical message window displayed by the HP Remote Web Console for HP storage system software.
• The word M-VOL in TrueCopy for Mainframe messages is equivalent to P-VOL in Continuous Access messages. • The word R-VOL in TrueCopy for Mainframe messages is equivalent to S-VOL in Continuous Access messages. • Part code: The ID of the application that issued the message. In “Sample Message Window (Information Level Message)” on page 13 the part code is 110. • Message number: Decimal number within the range of 0000 to 99999.
