Limitations of Auto LUN XP
The Auto LUN XP functions which are limited when you logged in as a storage partition administrator are
shown in Table 28. For the pane of Auto LUN XP displayed when you logged in as a storage partition
administrator, see Figure 29.

Physical tab in the Auto LUN XP pane • The tree and list display only the information in the SLPR (storage
management logical partition) allocated to the user ID.
• The Volume Migration button is not displayed (see Figure 29).
Therefore, the user cannot start Volume Migration.
LDEV tab in the Auto LUN XP pane The tree and list display only the information in the SLPR allocated to the
user ID.
Port-LUN tab in the Auto LUN XP pane • The tree and list display only the information in the SLPR allocated to
the user ID.
• The SPM button is not displayed (see Figure 29). Therefore, the user
cannot start Server Priority Manager.
WWN tab in the Auto LUN XP pane The WWN tab is not displayed (see Figure 29). The user cannot view the
traffics between host bus adapters and ports.
CA Monitor pane
TCz Monitor pane
CA Journal Monitor pane
URz Monitor pane
These panes are not displayed (see Figure 29). The user cannot view the
information about remote copy operations performed by Continuous
Access XP, TrueCopy for z/OS, Continuous Access XP Journal, and
Universal Replicator for z/OS.
Monitoring Options pane The Monitoring Options pane is not displayed (see Figure 29). The user
cannot start or stop monitoring, or change the gathering interval.
