Pair-Port Number Mismatch Specified port in the remote disk
array is physically disconnected from
the local disk array.
Ensure that you specified the correct
remote disk array port. Correct the
port number if necessary.
Ensure that the local and remote disk
arrays are connected by cables to
each other. If the disk arrays are not
by cables, and retry the operation.
Ensure that the topology settings of
ports on the local and remote disk
arrays are correct.
Pair-Port Type Mismatch Specified remote disk array port is
not configured as an RCU target
port.
Ensure that the remote disk array
port is configured as an RCU target
port.
Communication Failed Local disk array is connected to the
remote disk array successfully, but a
logical communication timeout
occurred.
Ensure that the remote disk array
port and network relay devices (for
example, cables and switches) are
properly configured and functioning.
Logical Blockade Failure occurred at a local disk array
port.
Repair the port status on the local
disk array.
Failure occurred at a remote disk
array port.
Repair the port status on the remote
disk array. After that, delete the path
using the Delete Path or Delete DKC
command, and add the path and
remote disk array again using the
Add Path or Add DKC command.
Failure occurred in the path relay
equipment.
Repair the path relay equipment.
After that, delete the path using the
Delete Path or Delete DKC
command, and add the path and
remote disk array again using the
Add Path or Add DKC command.
Connection cable is physically
broken.
Replace the broken cable. After that,
delete the path using the Delete Path
or Delete DKC command, and add
the path and remote disk array
again using the Add Path or Add
DKC command.
Program Error Program error detected. Delete the path using the Delete Path
or Delete DKC command, and add
the path and remote disk array
again using the Add Path or Add
DKC command.
<blank> Path was not established. Delete the failed path. You might
need to change the minimum paths
setting or delete the remote disk
array to delete the path. After
deletion finishes, add the path and
remote disk array using the Add Path
or Add DKC command.
