NOTE:
To remove any pairs from the Suspend Volume Pair Volume List, select the desired pairs displayed in
thePresetListontheSizmainwindow,right-clickthemousetoclicktheDeletecommandfromthe
pop-up menu that appears after right-clicking.
To suspend one or more Siz pairs:
1. 1. Go to the Siz main window, and select the desired CU image or S-VOL in the Tree to lter the
volumes displayed in the Volume List.
2. Select the pair(s) that you want to suspend (or the volume(s) whose pairs you want to suspend),
right-click the selected pairs to display the pop-up menu, and then click the Suspend Pair
command to open the Suspend Volume Pair dialog box.
3. On the Suspend Volume Pair dialog box, select the pair(s) you want to suspend, and click the
OK button to reectthesettingstothePresetListontheSizmainwindow.
NOTE:
Toremovepair(s)fromthelist,selecttheunneededpair(s),right-clickwhileselectingthepair(s),and
then click the Delete command from the pop-up menu that is displayed by right-clicking.
4. Repeat steps (2) and (3) to suspend additional pairs in the Suspend Volume Pair Volume List.
5. On the Siz main window, click the Apply button to suspend the specied pair(s). The Siz main
window the
n displays the result(s) of the suspend operation(s) (i.e., pair status changed to
Suspend).
6. Click the Refresh button (
) on the Remote Web Console main window to display the latest
pair information.
Deleting
Hitachi ShadowImage™ for z/OS Pairs
The Delet
eVolumePairdialogbox(seeFigure 39 on page 88) displays pair information for the pair(s)
selected on the Siz main window and allows you to delete the pair(s). To open the Delete Volume
Pair dialog box, select one or more pairs (except Simplex and V-Split pairs) in the Volume List on the
Siz main w
indow, right-click the selected pair(s) to display the pop-up menu, and then click the Delete
Pair command.
NOTE:
Siz supports the CDELPAIR/PPRCOPY DELPAIR commands for deleting Siz pairs. See
Chapter 5 on page 99 for more information on using PPRC commands.
