8. From the I/O Device List window, press F11 to start the Add Device dialog (see the following example).

9. From the Add Device window, enter the following: Device number, Number of devices, Device type:

3390B for an HPAV base device, or 3390A for an HPAV alias device (see the following example).

10. After the device is defined using the Add Device window, add this device to a specific

Processor/System-ID combination. ”Example: Device / Processor Definition Window – Selecting the

Processor ID” on page 34, ”Example: Define Device / Processor Window” on page 34, ”Example:

Device / Processor Definition Window” on page 35, and ”Example: Define Device to OS

Configuration Window – Selecting the OS Configuration” on page 35 show the HCD windows used to

select the Processor and System-ID to which this device will be added.
