NOTE: For Remote Clipboard to be enabled for any session, the general clipboard property
Rgreceiver.Clipboard.IsEnabled must also be set to 1.
RGS Sender properties
In this hierarchy, properties set by methods higher on the list override properties set by methods
lower on the list (with 1 being the highest and 3 being the lowest):
1. Properties set on the command line
2. Properties set in the RGS Sender configuration file
3. Default settings
Table 9-16 RGS Sender properties
Rgsender.MaxImageUpdateRate
This property sets the maximum number of image updates per second. The default is 30. With a setting of 0, the update rate
will be unlimited.
Rgsender.ImageCodec.Preferred
NC=This codec (HP3) has been the default since release 5.0.
HP2=This codec was the default prior to release 5.0.
JPEG-LS=This codec is mathematically lossless.
Rgsender.IsDisconnectOnLogoutEnabled
1=The RGS Sender will end the RGS connection and disconnect all collaborators when the primary user logs out (default).
0=The RGS connection will not be ended when the primary user logs out.
Rgsender.IsIloRemoteConsoleEnabled
NOTE: This property only applies to Linux.
1=The iLO console can be simultaneously enabled with an RGS connection, which could allow eavesdropping.
0=The iLO console will be disabled when an RGS connection is established (default).
Rgsender.IsAnonymousConnectionForceEnabled
1=Enables anonymous login so that a user (using the RGS Receiver) can log in to the remote computer without providing
credentials.
0=Disables anonymous login (default).
IMPORTANT: This property should normally remain disabled.
Rgsender.PreferredDisplayMethods
This property sets the order of methods to detect image changes. The default is GPU ChangeList Comparitron. If a
method is not currently supported with the system, the next method in the string will be tried.
GPU=This method uses the GPU hardware to quickly compare one full screen to a previous full screen
ChangeList=This method uses the RGS mirror-driver on Windows and the RGS X server extension on Linux to detect
display changes.
Comparitron=This method uses the system's CPU to compare one full screen to a previous full screen. This method is
supported on Windows only. Animated cursors wil be displayed as a static cursor.
