To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
Mezzanine card
Optional mezzanine cards enable network connectivity or provide Fibre Channel support. For mezzanine
card locations, see the system board components (on page 87).
Because mezzanine cards are supported on multiple workstation blade models, the mezzanine card may
have captive screws that are not required to secure it to the workstation blade. When installing a mezzanine
card in this workstation blade, only two captive screws are required.
To remove the component:
1. Power down the workstation blade (on page 26).
2. Choose one of the following options:
o Remove the workstation blade (on page 28).
o If you are using the WS460c G6 Workstation Blade with WS460c Graphics Expansion Blade:
i. Remove the WS460c Graphics Expansion Blade access panel.
ii. Remove the WS460c Graphics Expansion Blade.
3. Remove the access panel ("Access panel" on page 28).
4. Remove the mezzanine card.
