Workaround
This issue has been found on NAS servers with SmartStart 7.1 and SmartStart 7.2.
Go to the Add or Remove Programs applet and uninstall the older Version Control
Agent, restart the Service Release 6.2 setup, and then select Smart Component
CP005770 for installation.
Issue:
Minimum disk space requirement for Service Release 6.2 installation
Description
The HP ProLian
t Storage Server should have at least 1 GB of available space on
the system drive when installing the Service Release. The specicamountofdisk
space requir
ed depends on the components that are selected for installation.
Workaround There is no workaround, other than ensuring that the system drive where the Service
Release setup is installed has more than 1 GB of available disk space. To free
up disk space, unnecessary les can be deleted from the C:\temp folder . This
situation can also be avoided by ensuring that only the necessary components are
selected for installation when the Service Release setup is run.
Issue:
Mic rosoft hotx KB894537 cannot be installed on servers with S FU v3.5
Description
Microsoft hotx KB894537 cannot installed on servers with Services for Unix v3.5.
Workarou

Microsoft hotxes KB895398 and Q897078 are prerequisites and should be
selected and installed while installing KB894537. These hotxes are listed in the
Service R
elease 6.2 Microsoft hotx feature tree.

ervention required during installation of SMS v2.01 on HP ProLiant DL100 G2 servers

IMB v3.0 driver
Description
During installation of the Server Management System v 2.01 on D L100 G2 servers,
the IMB v3.0 driver sometimes displays a security warning stating the driver does
not have digital signature.
Workaround AcceptingthewarningmessagebyclickingContinue proceeds with the installation
without any issues.
Issue:
Running th e Service Release 6.2 setup using a network share results in an Open File—Security
Warning message
Description
When redirecting the NAS Updater utility to a network drive or share with Service
Release 6.2, the Windows Open File—Security Warning is displayed.
Workaround Select Run to allow the installation process to continue. This message may display
more than once.
Issue:
PSP Smart Components remain checked even though the components were installed
Description
Some ProLiant Support Pack (PSP) Smart Components remain checked for selection
in the Feature Selection screen when the Service Release 6.2 NAS Updater
installation is re-run after a previous installation. This issue is caused by the
necessary hardware required for the PSP components not being present on the
server.

Th
ere is no workaround. Having the PSP Smart Components checked does not
have any affect on their installation in this situation. This can be veried from the
PSP Smart Component log le located at C:\CPQSYSTEM\log\cpqsetup.log.
