HP ProLiant SL4540 Gen8 server
The HP ProLiant SL4540 Gen8 server system uses an Intel–based node architecture (Figure 3) using one or two Intel® Xeon®
E5-2400 series processors that utilize the PCIe 2.0 interface and have four, six, or eight processor cores each. Each
processor socket has three DDR3 memory channels that can accommodate two DIMMs each for a total of twelve DIMMs at
up to 1333 MHz.

HP ProLiant SL4545 G7 server
The HP ProLiant SL4545 G7 server system uses an AMD-based node architecture (Figure 4) using one or two AMD Opteron™
4200 Processors (up to 95W) with six or eight processor cores. Each processor socket contains three memory channels that
can accommodate two DIMMs each for a total of 12 DIMMs, at speeds of up to 1600MHz.
