Pre-Failure Warranty
The Compaq ProLiant ML530 server includes Pre-Failure Warranty for
processors, hard drives, and DIMMs purchased from Compaq through a
Compaq authorized reseller. Supported components are eligible for
replacement under this warranty before they actually fail if the system
determines that these components have degraded below predetermined
reliability thresholds within the product warranty period.
Compaq Insight Manager Alert
When Compaq Insight Manager alerts you that a component may be eligible
for Pre-Failure Warranty replacement, follow the on-screen instructions or
contact a Compaq authorized service provider in your area.
Compaq Insight Manager Status Indicator
A yellow status indicator on the Compaq Insight Manager control panel
indicates that a component is in a degraded condition. Compaq Insight
Manager recommends that you replace a component that is in a prefailure
condition.
