Replacing the Diskette Drive

To replace the diskette drive, follow the instructions included in the disk drive.

1. Remove the access panel, as described in the section “Accessing

Processors and the System Board” earlier in this chapter.

2. Remove the CPU system fan. Press in on the locking latch and pull the

fan out of the CPU system fan cage.

3. Remove the CPU fan basket. Loosen the thumbscrew and pull the

basket out

4. Remove the cables from the back of the diskette drive.
