6. Click OK in the HP Network Conguration Utility Properties dialog box to apply the changes.
Team Properties page
The Team P roperties page is displayed (see Figure 17) when the Properties tab is selected on the HP
Network Conguration Utility Properties dialog box. The Te am Properties page is used to manage and
monitor all team-specic settings and consists of the following individual tabs.

Teamin
g Controls—This tab is used to change the team nam e, select team type, select the Transmit
Load B
alancing algorithm, change port preference order for NFT with Preference teams, and to
assig
n group membership for Dual Channel teams.
Advanced Redundancy—This tab is only used when the server has a valid ProLiant Essentials
Intelligent Net working Pack (INP) license. It is used to manage Active Path, Fast Path, and monitor
Fast
Path port cost and path cost.
Discovery Protocol—Displays the Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP) options to enable or disable
CDPv1 and CDPv2. This feature is available with a valid INP license.
Sett
ings—This tab is used to manually set the team’s Locally Administered Address (LAA) MAC
add
ress, manage heartbeat timers, and manage the team-level advanced property settings (for
exa
mple, max frame s ize, checksum ofoading, Large Send Ofoad, and so on).
VLAN—This tab is used for assigning a team to one or more VLANs. It is a lso used to manually
choose which VLANs to use for the d efault/native VLAN, VL A N for receive path validation
(heartbeats) , Active Path VLA N, and Fast Path VLAN (if PVST+ is selected for Fast path).
