The HP System Management Homepage and Insight Management Agents are pre-installed on the
storage server. The Management Agents extend system manag em ent capabilities by integrating
HP Insight Diagnostics and the HP Network Configuration Utility. For more information, see

HP Systems Insight Manager
HP Systems Insight Manager (HP SIM) provides hardware-level management for HP ProLiant, Integrity,
and HP 9000 servers; HP BladeSystems; and HP P roLiant Storage Ser vers, HP StorageWorks MSA, EVA,
and XP storage arrays. HP SIM also provides management of non-HP gear through industry standards.
It can be extended to provide system management with plug-ins for HP clients, storage, p ower, and
printer products.

ProLiantStorageServerscanonlybeamanageddevicewithinthenetworkmanagedbyHPSystems
Insight Manager. The Microsoft End User License Agreement (EULA) shipped with the storage server
states that the ProLiant Stora ge Sever cannot host the HP Systems I nsight M anagement application
and serve as the HP SIM host for the network.

Accessing H P Insight Management Agents
The HP I nsight Management Agents for Servers enable you to view subsystem and status information
from a Web browser, either locally or remotely.
To view data locally on the HP Da ta Protection Storage Server, access h
