Secure Path Manager Is Delayed In Reporting Path
Failure Information
Due to extended error checking features present in the Secure Path software,
there may be some delay with Secure Path Manager in reporting failed path
information.
By default, the Secure Path Manager screen is refreshed every 60 seconds.
To perform a manual refresh, press the F5 key.
The Addition of New LUNs Causes an Error
In a PDC/O2000 cluster running Windows 2000 Advanced Server, the
addition of new logical drives may cause the Add/Remove Hardware Wizard
to display an error upon initializing the logical drive(s) and yellow warning
indicators to be displayed from the Device Manager.
To cancel these error displays, reboot the affected server node or nodes.
A Configuration of More Than 64 LUNs Prevents the
Secure Path Agent From Starting
A configuration of more than 64 LUNs may inhibit the Secure Path Agent
from automatically starting. If this occurs, do the following:
1. From the Services screen, right click on Secure Path Agent.
2. Select Properties, then select Recovery.
3. Select Recovery to restart the Secure Path Agent after the first failure.
4. Click Apply, then click OK.
