Compaq SmartStart and Support Software
SmartStart, which is located on the SmartStart and Support Software CD, is
the best way to configure Windows 2000 Advanced Server on a PDC/O2000
cluster. SmartStart uses an automated step-by-step process to configure the
operating system and load the system software.
The Compaq SmartStart and Support Software CD also contains device drivers
and utilities that enable you to take advantage of specific capabilities offered
on Compaq products. These drivers are provided for use with Compaq
hardware only.
The PDC/O2000 requires version 4.9 or later of the SmartStart and Support
Software CD. For information about SmartStart, refer to the Compaq Server
Setup and Management pack.
