System Memory

System supports 133-MHz registered SDRAM memory (Synchronous

DRAM).

■

Error Checking and Correcting (ECC) memory uses an error-encoding

scheme for memory error detection and correction. Specifically, this

feature detects and corrects single-bit memory errors.

■

System is expandable to 4-GB of memory (when available) installed in

dual-inline memory module (DIMM) sockets. Memory can be expanded

one module at a time.

Expansion Slots

The expansion slots on the riser board are configured as shown.
