The ProLiant DL380 Generation 2 server does not support any additional
cabling for internal mass storage devices. To add mass storage devices, see the
“External Cabling” section in this chapter.
System Cables
The server contains two system cables (Figure 6-4):
■ An LED/CD-ROM drive system cable connects the LED/CD-ROM
drive connector on the SCSI backplane to the LED/CD-ROM drive
connector on the system board

■ A diskette drive system cable connects the diskette drive system
connector on the SCSI backplane to the diskette drive system connector
on the system board
