Air Baffle
To remove the air baffle:
1. Complete the preparation procedures. See “Powering Down the Server” earlier in this
chapter.
2. Remove the access panel. See “Server Access Panel” earlier in this chapter.
CAUTION: Always remove the PCI riser board assembly before removing the air baffle.
Failure to remove the assembly may result in damage to expansion boards.
3. Remove the PCI riser board assembly. See “PCI Riser Board Assembly” earlier in this
chapter.
4. Rotate the air baffle toward the power supply and lift.

Reverse steps 1 and 4 to replace the air baffle.
