CAUTION: Before shipping the server, install the shipping/ejector key in its
storage location inside the chassis. Failure to do so can result in damage to the
CD-ROM/diskette drive assembly.
4. If you retrieved your shipping/ejector key from inside the server, install
the access panel and install the server into the rack. See Installing the
Access Panel earlier in this chapter and see Chapter 4, Installing the
Server.
NOTE: Keep your shipping/ejector key for future use.
Guidelines for Installing Hard Drives
The ProLiant DL320 server contains two drive bays for internal mass storage
devices. The server ships standard with two 1-inch drive trays. The following
sections provide general guidelines and installation procedures for upgrading
the hard drives.
