Memory
HP ProLiant DL165 G6 server has eight DIMM slots that support up to 64 GB maximum system
memory (8GB in each of the eight DIMM slots).
You must adhere to the following guidelines when adding or replacing memory modules:
• For 2P system, both physical processors must be of the same type and speed.
• Use 800 MHz ECC DDR2 (Registered DIMM).
• Supported DIMM: 1 GB, 2 GB, 4GB, 4GB LP and 8GB (64 GB maximum capacity).
