4. Remove the access panel ("Access panel" on page 24).
5. Remove all drives ("Drive" on page 25).
6. Remove all FBWC capacitor packs ("Removing the FBWC capacitor packs" on page 35).
7. Remove all DIMM baffles ("DIMM baffles" on page 27).
8. Disconnect all cables from the drive backplane. For more information, see "Cabling (on page 64)."
9. Remove the front panel/drive cage assembly ("Front panel/drive cage assembly" on page 37).
10. Remove the heatsink ("Heatsink" on page 38).
11. Open each of the processor locking levers in the order indicated, and then open the processor retaining
bracket.
12. Remove the processor from the processor retaining bracket.
CAUTION: To avoid damage to the processor, do not touch the bottom of the processor,
especially the contact area.
