Remove the access panel ("Access panel" on page 25).
4. If installed, remove the mezzanine card on mezzanine connector 3.
5. Locate the cache module ("System board components" on page 62).
6. Disconnect the battery cable.
7. Remove the cache module.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
Removing the battery or capacitor pack
CAUTION: To prevent a server blade malfunction or damage to the equipment, do not add or
remove the battery pack while an array capacity expansion, RAID level migration, or stripe size
migration is in progress.
