Remove the NAND flash module bracket, and then remove the NAND flash module from the SAS
controller.
8. To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
FBWC procedures
Four types of procedures are provided for the FBWC option:
• Removing the cache module capacitor pack (on page 39)
• Removing the optional SAS controller capacitor pack (on page 40)
• Removing the mezzanine option capacitor pack (on page 41)
• Recovering data from the FBWC (on page 42)
Removing the cache module capacitor pack
To remove the component:
1. Power down the server blade (on page 22).
2. Remove the server blade (on page 23).
3. Remove the access panel ("Access panel" on page 24).
4. Remove the DIMM baffle ("DIMM baffles" on page 28).
5. Disconnect the capacitor pack cable from the cache module.
