Removal and Replacement Procedures
I/O Pass-through Board
To remove the I/O pass-through board and cable:
1. Power down the server blade and remove it from the server blade enclosure. Refer to the
“Server Blad e Preparation” section in this chapter.
2. Remove the access panel. Refer to the “ Access Panel” section in this chapter.
3. Squeeze both tabs on either side of the I/O pass-through board (1) and pull it away from
the system board (2).
4. Disconnect the I/O pass-through cable from the board (3).
