3. Remove the access panel ("Access panel" on page 25).
4. Remove the front bezel assembly ("Front bezel assembly" on page 28).
5. If installed, disconnect the hard drive power and data cables from the system board ("Hard drive
connector identification" on page 66).
6. Remove the air baffle ("Air baffle" on page 25).
7. Remove the server blade release lever.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
Release button
To remove the component:
1. Power down the server blade (on page 23).
2. Remove the server blade (on page 24).
3. Remove the access panel ("Access panel" on page 25).
4. Remove the front bezel assembly ("Front bezel assembly" on page 28).
5. If installed, disconnect the hard drive power and data cables from the system board ("Hard drive
connector identification" on page 66).
6. Remove all hard drives ("Hard drive" on page 29).
7. Remove the air baffle ("Air baffle" on page 25).
8. Remove the USB/SD card module ("USB/SD card module" on page 35).
9. Remove the system board.
Removing DIMMs, heatsinks, processors, and mezzanine cards is not required for this procedure.
