EPS Connections on the HP 610 EPS

Recommendations

The HP 610 EPS is designed to provide primary or backup PoE power to up

to four HP PoE devices. It can be used to supply primary PoE power to up to

four HP Switch xl PoE modules (J8161A), after they have been installed in any

HP 5300xl switch chassis. The HP 610 EPS can also be used to supply backup

PoE power to up to four HP 2650-PWR or 2626-PWR switches or a mix of

primary and backup PoE power to both types of switches. For more informa-
