Installing and Connecting the HP Redundant / External Power Supplies

HP 620 RPS/EPS

The HP 620 RPS/EPS has the following components shipped with them:

■ HP 600/610/620 RPS/EPS Quick Setup Guide

■ HP 600, 610, 620, and 630 External and/or Redundant Power Supplies

Safety and Regulatory Information sheet

■ HP Switches General Safety and Regulatory booklet

■ Accessory kit

■ Two EPS cables, and two RPS cables, (5070-0102).

Note The EPS and RPS cables can be used for either EPS or RPS connections.

However, a cable MUST not be installed such that an EPS port is connected

to an RPS port. Make sure to follow the color coding on the switch and

power supply.

■ AC power cord, one of the following:

(5069-5705)

• two mounting brackets

• eight 8-mm M4 screws to attach the

mounting brackets to the unit

• four 5/8-inch number 12-24 screws to

attach the unit to a rack

• four rubber feet
