Limitations
In the illustration above, the maximum PoE power that can be provided to the
switch is 398 watts.
UPS Support
The HP 630 RPS/EPS may be used in configurations where an Uninterruptible
Power Supply (UPS) is desired. See “Specifications,” in Appendix A for the
power requirements of the HP 630 RPS/EPS for use in determining your UPS
requirements.
Connecting Multiple HP 630 RPS/EPS units
Recommendations
The following illustration shows a topology that protects against a power
supply failure and a power main failure. By connecting one switch and one
HP 630 RPS/EPS to one power main, and by connecting the other switch and
the other HP 630 RPS/EPS to another power main, either power main can fail
without impacting the other switch.
