Chapter 4: Troubleshooting the Utility Meter
The umadmin status command displays the status of the ucd daemon process so that you
can verify the Utility Meter is running.
Or view the status of the ucd daemon process in the Daemon Status section on the
Troubleshoot tab in the Utility Meter GUI.
l Transported Files Status
This displays the transported files details including Serial Number, Model/Module Name, Device
Address, Number of Transported Files, Earliest File Sent, and Latest File Sent on the
Troubleshoot tab in the Utility Meter GUI.
l Transported Error Files
This displays transported error files details including Number, Model/Module Name, Device
Address, Number of Transported Files, Earliest File Sent, and Latest File Sent.
l Transported Files Viewer
This displays the transported files in the Transported Files Viewer section on the Troubleshoot
tab in the Utility Meter GUI.
l Test Connectivity Status
This displays the connection status of the device and the device details, such as Number of
Usage Collection Devices, Name, Type and Address on theTroubleshoot tab in the Utility
Meter GUI.
The following icons display:
Green- the last connection status was successful
Red- the last connection failed. An error has been detected.
Note: If you click on the Red icon a detailed description displays.
l umadmin list Command
The umadmin list command lists the devices being monitored by the Utility Meter.
Or view a list of configured devices on the Device Management tab in the Utility Meter GUI.
