3PAR Refers to the 3PAR storage arrays that are supported in the URS solution.
3PAR InForm OS Refers to the onboard operating system that runs on 3PAR storage arrays.
CIM Refers to the Common Information Model.
CLI Command-line interface. An interface comprised of various commands which are used to control
operating system responses.
CV EVA Refers to the HP StorageWorks Command View EVA software.
CVAE HP StorageWorks Command View Advanced Edition. A software product that installs on a
user-provided server and provides a browser-based platform from which you can manage the XP
and P9000 family of disk arrays.
EVA Refers to the HP Enterprise Virtual Array product that is supported in the URS solution.
GSOAP Refers to the GSOAP software development toolkit for SOAP/XML Web services and generic
(non-SOAP) C/C++ XML data bindings.
OA Refers to the Onboard Administrator.
Partition/Server A VSE partition (nPar or vPar) in a cell based server.
PPU Refers to the HP Pay per use solution, which is a part of the HP Utility Pricing Solutions program.
SMI-S Refers to the Storage Management Initiative Specification.
SSSU Refers to the Storage System Scripting Utility.
UPS Refers to the HP Utility Pricing Solutions program.
Utility Meter Refers to the combination of the HP Utility Meter software and the hardware running it.
