1.6 Utility Meter Software
Version 9.3 of the HP Pay per use Utility Meter II software is available as the following HP product from the
HP Software Depot web site (http://software.hp.com): T2258AA
The Software Depot download is an ISO image that includes a hardened version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Server and the Utility Meter software.
1.6.1 Utility Meter Software Dependencies
The Utility Meter software is dependent on the following software:
For Utility Ready Storage EVA installations:
HP StorageWorks Storage System Scripting Utility (SSSU) version 9.3 communicating with CV
EVA version 9.3.0.
SSSU version 9.4 communicating with CV EVA version 9.4.0.
The latest version of SSSU that the Utility Meter software was tested against is installed with the Utility
Meter software in the /home/umeter/SSSU directory. If you want to use this version of SSSU, you
do not need to install SSSU or run SetupSSSU. If you want to install a different version of SSSU, see
Section 2.4: “URS EVA Only – Installing the CV EVA SSSU Softwarefor details.
For Utility Ready Storage XP installations:
HP StorageWorks Command View Advanced Edition Command Line Interface (CVAE CLI) version
6.4 communicating with CVAE version 6.4.
CVAE CLI version 7.0.1 communicating with CVAE version 7.0.1.
CVAE CLI version 7.1.0 communicating with CVAE version 7.1.0.
The latest version of the CVAE CLI that the Utility Meter software was tested against is installed with the
Utility Meter software in the /home/umeter/CLI directory. If you want to use this version of CVAE
