4. Set the customer contact email address:
a. Enter the customer contact email address. If more than one email address is needed, separate them
with semicolons. HP recommends using an email alias or an email distribution list as the contact
email address for your Utility Meter.
b. Click Submit.
5. Set the current UTC date and time:
a. If the date and/or time is different from what is displayed in the fields, enter the current date and/or
time. You can click Refresh to update the date and time if the Setup tab has been opened for
awhile.
b. Click Submit.
6. Set the hostname:
a. Enter the fully qualified domain name.
b. Click Submit.
7. Set the network parameters:
a. Select either the DHCP or Static radio button.
b. For a static configuration enter the following parameters:
• IP Address
• Net Mask Address
• Gateway Address
• DNS #1 Address
• DNS #2 Address (optional)
c. Click Submit.
