If you do not see a page similar to the one in Step 4, then there is a connectivity problem between the PPU
partition and the UPS portal. You will see a page similar to the following if there is a connectivity problem.

4.8 Verifying a Storage Device
This section provides information to:
Verify that a device is configured in the Utility Meter.
Verify the connection between a device and the Utility Meter.
Verify the connection between the Utility Meter and HP.
EVA only – verify the correct version of CV EVA SSSU (Storage System Scripting Utility) is installed.
XP only – verify the correct version of CV XP AE CLI is installed.
VLS only – verify the correct version of VLS firmware is installed.
4.8.1 Verifying a Device is Configured in the Utility Meter
To verify that a device is configured in the Utility Meter, perform the following procedure:
1. Start the Utility Meter GUI. For details, see Section 3.1: “Starting the Utility Meter GUI”.
2. Inspect the Utility Meter GUI's Managed Devices Tree (left pane), and see if the device is listed
below the IP address or hostname of its management server. The device should have a green circle to
the left of the IP address or hostname, which indicates that it is connected to the Utility Meter. If the
device is listed, then you have verified that the device is configured in the Utility Meter.
If the device is not listed below its management server, see Section 3.5.1: “Configure a Device (Add
Device)”.
3. In the Utility Meter GUI's Managed Devices Tree (left pane), click the device's expansion button to
display the URS and non-URS devices that are managed by the device.
