Software and hardware requirements

Table 1 describes the software and hardware required to install P9000 Application Performance

Extender.

XP24000 or XP20000 with Microcode version 60-04-13-

00/00 or later

NOTE:

Ensure that you select an XP disk array which does not

have Storage Logical Partitions (SLPR) configured.

XP disk array models

P9500 with Microcode version 70-01-23-00/00 or laterP9000 disk array models

• Windows: 9.1.8.27, 9.1.8.28, and 9.1.7.29

• RHEL 5.4 and RHEL 5.5: 8.03.01.04.05.05-k ,

8.03.01.05.05.06-k

• SLES 10 Special Pack 3: 8.03.00.13.10.03-k4

• SLES 11: 8.03.00.13.11.0-k4 , 8.03.01.06.11.1-k8

5.03.02 or 5.2.0

NOTE:

• For SLES, you must manually upgrade the firmware

version.

• For Windows and RHEL, during the driver upgrade

process, the firmware is automatically upgraded.
