OE media kits include both DVD and CD media. Please
see the Description section at the beginning of this SPD
for a listing of contents, and the Ordering Information
section for ordering details.
SOFTWARE DOCUMENTATION
Online documentation is included with all product binary
offerings. Hardcopy documentation is available for most
products. Manuals typically include information about all
three OpenVMS platforms (VAX, Alpha, and I64). See
the Ordering Information section for details.
ORDERING INFORMATION
Ordering OE licenses
Table 2 and Table 3 list the licenses for each OE. One
license is required for each active processor core. The
license type is the PCL (Per-processor Core License);
LTU is License-to-Use. "With system" means there is an
Integrity server on the order. "Without system" means
there is no Integrity server on the order.

Ordering OE License Upgrades
The OE license upgrade allows the customer to trade in
an existing OE license to move to a higher OE socket
license or to a higher OE level for OpenVMS I64. A new
PAK is required for the new license. The old license and
PAK are terminated according to the process for trade-
ins.
Process:
1. The customer orders the new OE using the standard
OE product number.
2. The field applies an Upgrade Credit option product
number for the OE the customer is upgrading (trading
in).
3. The customer must trade in his original license, and
remove it from support (if covered). Support is added
to the order for the new license, which is then added
to the customer contract.

Media is offered for Foundation, Enterprise, and Mission
Critical Operating Environments. Purchase of an OE
media product requires purchase of a corresponding OE
license on the same order.
