is used.
Select Mirror/Clone (Plex) to create a target volume, independent
from its source volume.
Select Snapshot (Differential) to create a target volume, dependent
on its source volume.
NOTE:
Some providers ignore this selection; in these cases make sure
the provider is configured to create the intended type of copy.

By default, this option is automatically selected if Track the replica
for instant recovery is set, and cannot be deselected.
Select this option to keep the replica on a disk array after backup.
If this option is not selected, the replica is deleted after backup.

During ZDB sessions, Data Protector creates a new replica and leaves
it on the array until the specified Number of replicas rotated is
reached (specify if you selected Keep the replica after the backup).
After that, the oldest replica is deleted and a new one created.
The maximum number for vsnaps and standard snapshots is limited
by the EVA storage system. Data Protector does not limit the number
of replicas rotated, but the session fails if the limit is exceeded.

During VSS backup session, a target storage allocation for the
snapclone replica is created first. At that point, the replica is only
virtual but immediately available for use. However, in the
background, copy process runs for some time to copy all data from
the source to the target storage. To avoid the slowdown of the copy
process caused by further actions, for example Exchange integrity
check process, use this option. The backup resumes after the time
specified in Wait up to n minutes (default: 60) is reached even if the
copy process is not finished.
